Performances at SONIC MATTER

The Swiss premiere of O flower of fire (2023) will be performed by Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich with Pierre-André Valade on 20 February, as part of the fifth edition of the SONIC MATTER Festival for Experimental Music. The satellitenkonzert will take place in the Grosse Tonhalle with a programme that includes music by Thomas Adès and Unsuk Chin. See here for more information.
Later in the Festival, on 28 February, pianist Fidan Aghayeva-Edler will perform Processional (2018) as part of an ongoing Komponistinnen Piano Marathon series, which highlights and celebrates piano works by women composers. More information can be found here.
